An assistant that notices you ask for the same summary every Monday can offer to run it for you. The risk is obvious: an assistant that watches people becomes surveillance. So TeamUP's assistant is built the other way round.
Off until you switch it on
There is one switch in Settings. When it is off, nothing is learned.
What it looks at, and what it never does
It looks at actions you take inside TeamUP: work you started, agents you used, routines that ran, approvals, and the timing of your replies. It does not read keystrokes, screens or other applications, and it does not read your mail to profile you. It makes no sensitive inferences about health, religion, politics or family, and it does not score people for managers.
You stay in control
A suggestion arrives as a notification, at most two a day and never in quiet hours, with the reason in one line. You choose Start, Edit first, Not now or Never suggest this. Nothing runs before a click. A screen shows what it noticed and the evidence, and you can delete everything it learned. What it learns is private to you unless company policy allows more, and then you see a notice.
